This church was dedicated in 1951 and designed to hold about 100 people. Roy Crowl donated the land for St Raymond's Church. The church closed in 1970 and the property return to Cowl in 1981. When Albert Okura purchased the town in 2005, it included the church.

Over the years that church sat empty weather and wind took their toll on the steeple, and it collapsed. In 2016 it was restored.
