Texaco Service Station302 N Main St. NW on B St., Joplin, MOPhone:

The concrete block building is covered with white enameled panels on the from and sides. The large windows in the office area have been partially filled in with wood panels. The back is plain concrete block. There is an overhead door on the back wall making the far service bay a drive through. The single door on the side was probably an entrance to the ladies restroom, a common arrangement for this period style. Photo(s): 2016

Did
You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane
road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned
    lanes are still there.
