C. S. Bradbury was a Pharmacist with the company but in 1931 he and his son-in-law formed the Bradbury Bishop Drug Company here. The location became the Bradbury Bishop Deli in 1988 which closed in early 2013. The building is located at the intersection of N. Main and Daugherty Streets, one block north of Route 66. You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane
road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned
lanes are still there.
