This building was built in 1937 and in the past has been used by various companies. It is located at 819 Britton Road. In 2002 the Oklahoma Route 66 Historic Resources Survey identified this as a former Texaco Service Station. The pump Island can still be seen in the driveway.

You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane
road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned
lanes are still there.
