The 1956 Kelly Motel had 15 or 16 guest rooms and a managers apartment. As shown in the postcard below, there was an office section with a canopy over the office entrance, the canopy has been removed and some windows filled in. I wonder if that happened during the renovation after a significant fire in the mid 70s that destroyed the owner/managers apartment and several rooms. The two story building on the right side of this photo was the 50s 16 room Sun-Tan/Texan Motel. Both of these motels have been modified and it doesn't appear that either one is operating as a motel now.
