Various locations, McLean, TX

East < GO > West

This mural style sign is on the side of the old Mantooth gas station located at 1st Street and Rowe St.
xThis early 1930's building at 113 W. First Street has murals painted so it looks like a barber shop, which I guess it was in times past.

x This mural is painted on the side of an Antique Shop located on the south side of First Street between Rowe and Main St.

x Charlotte's Unique Gifts is located a 115 W. First Street which is between Main and Commerce Sts. These murals were painted since 2008.

x These murals are on the building right next door to Charlottes. Great way to make empty storefronts look more attractive.

x About Us We started traveling Historic U.S. Route 66 as a destination in 2009. It's like a 2,400 mile long drive back in time from Chicago to Santa Monica! more
xDid You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned lanes are still there.
