The renovated Dobson Museum and Home which includes the formal gardens is one block west of Main St. an 1st and "A" St. The Dobson Family Home was built in 1916 for the Solomon Dobson Family. They came from Cuba, KY in 1892 and Mr. Dobson was one of the first men to drill successfully for ore in the Picher District. The home was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2011
